Across all of our businesses at Brené Brown Education and Research Group, we are both inspired by and committed to the idea of giving and generosity.
Here are some ways we’re giving back at The Marble Jar:
The Marble Jar opened its doors one week after Hurricane Harvey hit Houston. Before we could even assess the tremendous damage to our beloved city, new hurricanes hit Florida and devastated Puerto Rico.
Brené answered a call for licensed social workers to report to NRG stadium to help with evacuee intake. After her shift, Brené took to Facebook to ask our community for help with underwear – a basic necessity that you don’t think about in the midst of a crisis.
Well, I see London. I see France. Y’all kicked ass on the underpants!
Y’all sent over 1 million pairs of underwear and $918,353 to our local nonprofit, Undies for Everyone.
Those underwear have been distributed to victims of Hurricane Harvey, Irma, Maria and there are currently 200,000 pairs on their way to the victims of the California wild fires.
There is still a lot of need, so we’re giving 100% of profits from the sale of the Rising Strong Collection to hurricane relief.
Thank you for showing up when we needed you the most!
We’re donating 5% of profits from all Marble Jar sales to three different charities and YOU GET TO CHOOSE! Just before checkout, select from one of the three charities partners!
